United Kingdom Model for End-Stage Liver Disease (UKELD) score makes the use of different laboratory tests which are: INR, Bilirubin, Sodium, and serum creatinine in order to categorize End-stage liver disease patient into eligible or non-eligible for liver transplantation, this system is used in the united kingdom.
To calculate the UKELD score for patients with End-stage liver disease to find out if they are eligible for liver transplantation or no.
The formula is used in the United Kingdom for patients diagnosed with End-stage liver disease.
This formula shall not be used to determine if the patient may be eligible for transplantation for reasons other than chronic liver disease.
