Clinical model used to calculate the Left Ventricle Mass Index (LVMI), a parameter that evaluates the left ventricular mass normalized to body size, commonly used for diagnosing and monitoring left ventricular hypertrophy.
To calculate the total value of the LVMI based on left ventricular mass and body surface area (BSA). This guideline aids in the identification and management of cardiac hypertrophy.
Use in patients with suspected or confirmed cardiac hypertrophy.
Not to be used for diagnosing other cardiac conditions unrelated to hypertrophy. This guideline is purely for LVMI calculation and does not include interpretation of clinical thresholds or recommendations for management.
